Today's quote comes from the one and only Jack Kerouac. His an American novelist and poet that defined a generation.
What should I do this weekend? It’s a question that conjures up great adventures and worthy achievements that at the beginning of the week seem so attainable, but sadly these venturesome plans are all too often abandoned as the days of the week roll by, and you end up out Friday night with friends at the local watering hole. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes it can leave you unsatisfied come Monday morning when your recollection of the weekend consist of familiar memories similar to the weekend previous. That’s when you know it’s time to make good on one of those early-week daydreams – so pack it up, get out of town, and break the repetition we often get consumed by.
Today's quote comes from the writings of none other than Mark Twain, the greatest American author of this or any generation. He is most well-known for two books he wrote in the middle of his career: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and years later, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
